WORK AT THE TEXAS BORDER (Project Inactive)

By positioning themselves right outside the border facility, the Texas team had direct access to the migrants coming thru processing. Some migrants already had contacts here in the states, but others are without destination or friends.

This provided a window of time where volunteers could make connections with migrants during a vulnerable time. Many good contacts were made.

Unfortunately, this opportunity is not longer available as changes in administration cut off the flow of migrants.
